Sweets, Treats and Science Experiments

Brrrr.  Is anyone else cold out there?  I think winter has arrived.  Over the last couple of weeks I have had the opportunity to check out several new blogs.  I am still working my way through a lot more.  As the first Fan Friday of 2014, I am bringing you a couple of new blogs with something yummy to help take away that winter chill.

1)  Glory from Glorious Treats has the most delicious looking recipes.  There is a delightful recipe for Hot Chocolate on a Stick.  I love this.  What a great idea.

Are you ready for Snowman Soup?  Too cute, complete with recipe and printable.
Hot Cocoa Cookies, anyone?
How about Gumball Snowmen?
And finally, Snowmen cookies.
This gal has definitely got talent.  I would love to be a taste tester in her kitchen.  She provides printable recipes for each one.
2)  You have to check out Tracey’s We Made That.  She has lots of activities for children, like this Snowman Cocoa gift.
Or, check out her science experiments, such as this Tornado In a Bottle Experiment.

Or, this one where they made a cloud.

Ever want to make your own ‘flubber‘?  Well, here’s a recipe for that.

I hope you will check out both of these ladies and their great blogs. There are lots of fun activities on both sites.

Glory and Tracey, please grab a button, if you wish.

Thanks for visiting today.  I hope you are having a fabulous day!

  1. All of those chocolate goodies and snowmen make me think I should do a winter party for my children and their friends. I’ll have to check out the website.

    • Hi Jennifer. Yes, do check out her site. She has some really great things posted there. I think a winter children’s party sounds fabulous! Let me know how it goes.

  2. That is all cool stuff right there, Regina. Those experiments in a bottle are great for homeschoolers! I’ll have to share those with a friend of mine. Great post, thanks for sharing.

  3. Oh Regina, these are all awesome. I just love the name ‘snowman soup’! These are all great. I think my daughter is snowed in with 3 kids today.. will be sharing right away! I’ve got to check some of these out for sharing with coworkers and patients at work 🙂 So much fun and most look ‘easy’ enough for even me! <3

    • Hi Kimberly. You are too funny! You have more talent than you think. I also loved the name ‘snowman soup’. Just too cool. These look like lots of easy projects and I can’t wait to make some of them myself. I love the hot chocolate on a stick too. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year’s.
