5 Ways To Be Successful

Today is the day we begin the 30 Day Marriage Gratitude Journal Challenge.  Rendel and I began last week to work at getting in the habit.  I really enjoyed the process but found that a couple of days I had difficulty getting it accomplished.

My question for you is ‘what are you going to do to make sure that you write every day”?  One thing I know is that if you forget for one day, it is harder to remember the next day.  If you forget for 2 days or more, you will get out of the habit.

So, what can you do to make sure that you remember?  Here are a few ideas:

  1.  When you think about it, do it.  Don’t procrastinate until the end of the day.  It will only take you a few minutes.
  2.  Set aside a particular time and do it at the same time every day.
  3.  Do it together as a couple if you have both decided to take the challenge.  Make it a ‘marriage activity’.
  4.  Make it a priority.
  5.  Make it a matter of prayer that you will remember and be able to articulate your thoughts.

Be sure that you express your gratitude to your mate or at let them read some of your entries so that they know how much they are loved and what you love and appreciate about them.

Rendel and I are wishing you great success in following through on the challenge and seeing the difference it can make in your marriage.  Know that we practice what we preach and we are doing the challenge.  We believe in doing everything we can to help our love grow stronger every day.

Please let me know in the comment section if you are joining the challenge and how it is going for you.  Also, be sure to join our Facebook group at 30 Day Marriage Journal Challenge.  This is a safe place to give and receive support in your Gratitude Challenge.
